Jos Brands is a 30-year veteran of the professional world of make-up, heading the International Make-Up Team for Kryolan, working fashion shows in Paris and Germany and authoring "Airbrush and Make-up."
Brands experienced his professional entry into the world of creative arts at the Royal Opera. To date, he has worked for countless theatre, film, and TV productions. When the famous State Institute for Graphics, Arts and Design (SISA) in Antwerp offered him the Chair for Make-up Design, he realized the opportunity of passing on his experience and just as importantly, his enthusiasm to a new generation of make-up artists and of motivating them for their own creative work. Today Brands has achieved an international reputation as an educator to the profession of make-up artistry, and has developed a comprehensive training program.
His close collaboration with KRYOLAN has taken him to many countries of the world including Germany, Britain, France, Greece, Lithuania, Lebanon, Taiwan, Singapore, USA, Mexico, Brazil and Hong Kong. Jos Brands has splendidly demonstrated and exemplified, wherever he travels, the art of make-up design and of course, the art of the airbrush techniques that he has applied equally well for special effects and for professional beauty make-up.
"HD PRODUCTS AND TECHNIQUES"
This class will discuss the new look of make-up and the way to do it. It will also cover the influence of light on the skin and registration of the HD-camera. The course will also delve into how to create a second skin with the new HD products and other techniques to appy on your make-up.
"AIRBRUCH AND HD MAKE-UP"
This course will answer why airbrushing works better on camera than other techniques, along with products, tools and techniiques of airbrushing for a beauty make-up.
