Known simply as "The Show" to the make-up world, the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show is the only show of its kind in the world. Thousands of make-up artists, vendors, manufacturers and enthusiasts convene for the make-up world's biggest gathering to discuss, display, discover and collect the best the industry has to offer. If you’ve ever wanted to learn the techniques, experiment with the products or just have an interest in the art of make-up, then London is where you need to be in January. The Alexandra Palace will host the seventh annual International Make-Up Artist Trade Show presented by Make-up Artist Magazine. On January 24 and 25 make-up pros will come together to provide the finest education and demonstrations in the world—new products will be introduced, make-up secrets will be revealed and ideas will be exchanged!

During the mid-'90s, there were no trade shows specifically for make-up artists, and cosmetic companies expressed a desire for such an event. Knowing just how much education could be provided, Make-Up Artist magazine publisher Michael Key held the First Annual International Make-Up Artist Trade Show in August 1997. The Show allowed artists to custom-tailor what they wanted to see. It offered a completely diverse mix of presentations, products, demonstrations, and education by some of the biggest names in the business. Like Make-Up Artist magazine, the Trade Show continues to further the vision to educate and reach make-up artists around the world.
